vision

Our vision

A fulfilled life should not be a privilege. It is given by God. Enlightening education, meaningful work, unconditional belonging and living faith in community should not be a privilege. That is why, on behalf of our Lord Jesus Christ, we take responsibility and show courage, set out on our journey and make our contribution sincerely and conscientiously so that this vision can gradually become a reality.

“Faith can move mountains”

We want to invite people to set out on their own personal path in this matter, we want to inspire people and show them how this can be done from our point of view, we want to encourage people to do like us and follow Jesus and we will give everything we have been given to help people to support them and to accompany them on this path with us and to help shape it. This is the calling that we are entrusted with and to which we devote ourselves one hundred percent.

The serving, as well as useful "village"

A “village”, as a community of work, learning, life and faith, inspired and oriented by the early Christian community, aligned to the ” New Jerusalem”, is a place where people cultivate a positively oriented attitude of for and with one another, of peaceful and joyful learning, working, living and being together. A place of prayer, where the people who enliven this place master all the areas of life important to them together, thus serving each other and creation, thus enabling them to live a fulfilled life in Christ and his discipleship. Among the main areas of life in which we believe life can take all possible forms and shapes, we count the following four:

“My God is not a Catholic God”, said Pope Francis. Many roads lead to Rome, then probably many roads also lead to God. No one should have to give up or subordinate his faith or religion. Whom his faith and his religion, but also his science, or even something completely different helps him to be a good, virtuous person, to live according to the principles of love, peace and compassion and to pass these on, whom it helps to be a blessing, salvation, expression and example for creation, whom it helps to deepen his relationship with God and creation, to whom it helps to promote his development and his advancement, as well as that of his neighbor, may he deepen and live his faith, alone or with like-minded people, and may he deal with others in a tolerant, respectful, learning and above all loving manner, because the relationship with God is a very personal matter for each individual being. There is nothing that does not serve the good sooner or later. And it does not matter to the All-in-One-Power whether one believes in it or not, because everything goes HIS way, everything happens at HIS time, everything follows the plan of God.

“First seek the kingdom of God within yourself, everything else will be given to you without effort”

So we encourage spiritual growth in people and groups, but not by imposing “wisdom”, or even by missionary work with the “only valid truth”, but primarily through the original meaning of the word religion (“religio” means reconnection – being one with God and remembrance – perceiving God in us). This “religio” is a very personal, inner process between each person and God, in which the relationship with God matures and through this gradually self-consciousness, fullness, clarity, talents, virtues and gifts, which are laid out by God for this person, come to light and express themselves and flourish in the life of a person.

This relationship with, and orientation towards, Jesus Christ, his discipleship, as well as the gifts and virtues that mature from this, to live together with other people and in all areas of life that affect human life, is the core of our efforts and thus the content of our spiritual life. At the centre of our prayer circles, courses, devotions and our worship service, are the common prayer, singing and music in praise, as well as the books of Holy Scripture, the living Word of God in us and many other smaller and larger aids and tools.

The most decisive thing here, however, is the life of living faith and spiritual life in everyday life, with our fellow human beings and in all areas of our lives, just as Jesus Christ taught us and, above all, exemplified it. His great love is our standard.

“We want to be powerful, conscious and responsible people who follow Jesus, so we will work on ourselves”

The greatest pain a soul can feel is that of standstill. When there is no more change and development in and around us, we become dissatisfied, unhappy and sick with time. That is why it is important to see oneself as a human being throughout one’s life as a learner who, with the help and grace of God, changes, expands, develops and unfolds himself and who learns with and from other people. The same applies to all kinds of organisations and relationships (partnership, family, friendship, businesses, schools, associations, communities, cities, countries, etc.).

“Consider everything and keep the good”

In order to serve creation as individuals or as a group of people we need to be flexible and willing to change so that we can always learn, work and live in the way that is most beneficial to the moment of creation. So we create spaces, for children, young people, adults and elders, as well as their organisations, in which inner and outer development and common growth, form and change are possible.

“Does the grass grow faster if you pull on it? Our grass grows more intimately, because we care for it appropriately.” For children and young people this “care” takes place, among other things, in our “school villages” and educational institutions, through heart education and universal (holistic) teaching, and for adults and elders in our adult education, and for all, through conscious and active living, this own and mutual soul care in everyday life.

“Work is like prayer.” It provides us, it inspires us, it serves us, it brings us inner and outer growth, it makes us happy, it benefits us and lets us contribute, it brings us together, it brings us purpose and meaning in life and it is the sacred process of our creative work and expression in this world.

“Playing is the work of the child”, said Maria Montessori – in this sense, we want to do our work. A “normalized” child is diligent, persevering, patient, meditatively absorbed in what he is doing and gives himself completely to God, his guidance and the work that he is doing. It is imbued with attention and is flooded with peace and devotion. Its lightness, its contentment and its joy of work are based on inner growth, which is automatically generated by sincere and curious engagement with a matter.

“So become like children” Originally, people of all ages learn this way. That is why it is so important to learn to live this attitude in all work and tasks as an adult, that is why it is so invaluable to be a lifelong learner.

In this attitude, we as human beings want to grow into our respective professions and vocations, and to place the values and works that arise from them at the service of our families, enterprises, communities, society, humanity and, above all, creation.

“Joy shared is joy doubled”

To live living, intimate, healed and authentic relationships in partnerships, friendships, brotherhood and sisterhood, families, heart relatives and communities where every day is a celebration in its own way is our goal. Hobbies, interests, worship and devotion, rituals and celebrations, in short, sharing life together. Organizing and shaping everyday life together and creating spaces of encounter and togetherness. Enjoying culinary delights, playing, celebrating, living, praying and being together. Giving and accepting help and support on all levels of life. To enable each other and others to live a good and fulfilling life.

The world is a village - Union vereinter Christen

We create places where people of all generations, social and cultural layers come together, play together and learn to work together in living, free and self-organized learning, working, living and faith communities, in the name of Jesus Christ. And we connect these places and people with and among each other, so that a network of like-minded people and organizations of various kinds is created, which are regionally and internationally connected and mutually support, help and inspire each other, and thereby contribute significantly to changing our culture and to improving cooperation and peace on our earth.

Our service

We train and accompany people to have a positive influence on systems, organisations and relationships of partnerships, families, communities, schools, companies and their people. By setting an example, working on themselves and targeted coaching, they learn to contribute to a peaceful and harmonious environment in which healthy relationships can grow, free learning and authentic living can take place.
